Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply when you use the Clean Slate Store website or purchase products from us. Please read them before placing an order. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
1. About Clean Slate Store
2. Products & Product Information
Clean Slate Store is an online retailer offering carefully selected products designed to provide practical solutions for everyday life.
Some products sold through Clean Slate Store are supplied and fulfilled by third-party fulfilment partners. This means products may be dispatched directly from a supplier or fulfilment centre rather than from Clean Slate Store itself.
We aim to describe and display our products as accurately as reasonably possible. Product photographs, colours, dimensions and packaging may occasionally vary slightly from those shown on the website.
Availability can change without notice. If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and, where appropriate, offer a refund or alternative.
We reserve the right to correct genuine errors in product descriptions, specifications or pricing.
3. Prices & Payment
4. Delivery & Fulfilment
Prices displayed on our website are shown in pounds sterling (£) unless stated otherwise.
The total price payable, including any applicable delivery charges, will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
Payments are processed securely through the payment methods offered during checkout. Clean Slate Store does not directly store your full payment-card details.
Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it. An order is accepted once it has been confirmed in accordance with our order process.
We deliver to the locations shown as available during checkout.
Because some products are fulfilled directly by third-party suppliers, dispatch locations and delivery times can vary between products. An order containing multiple products may therefore arrive in separate packages or on different dates.
Estimated delivery times are provided where available. These are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless we expressly state otherwise.
Once tracking information becomes available, it may be provided to you by email or through the relevant order notification.
We remain responsible for fulfilling our obligations to you as the retailer, regardless of whether a third party is used to fulfil an order.
5. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
6. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Products
If you are a UK consumer purchasing online, you will normally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, subject to the exceptions provided by law.
After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you will normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Please contact us before returning an item so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions. Do not return products directly to the address shown on a supplier's packaging unless we specifically instruct you to do so.
Unless the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or we agree otherwise, you may be responsible for the cost of returning it.
Certain products may be excluded from the statutory right to cancel where permitted by law, including certain sealed goods once opened for hygiene or health-protection reasons and products made to a customer's specification.
Your statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods are not affected.
Please see our Returns & Refunds Policy for further information.
If your product arrives damaged, faulty or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
We may ask you to provide photographs or other information to help us investigate the issue with our fulfilment partner.
Where you are legally entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, we will handle this in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.
7. Orders, Availability & Cancellation
8. Your Responsibilities
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred, payment cannot be authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the relevant amount will be refunded.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact, delivery and payment information when placing an order.
Please check your delivery details carefully before completing checkout. If you discover an error after ordering, contact us as quickly as possible. We cannot guarantee that delivery details can be changed once fulfilment has begun.
9. Intellectual Property
10. Liability
The Clean Slate name, logo, website design, original written content and other materials created by or for Clean Slate Store may be protected by intellectual-property laws.
Third-party product names, trademarks, photographs and other materials remain the property of their respective owners where applicable.
You may not reproduce or commercially exploit our original website content without permission, except where permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject always to your statutory consumer rights.
11. Privacy
12. Changes To These Terms
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
When necessary to fulfil your order, relevant information such as your name, delivery address and order details may be shared with payment processors, delivery companies, fulfilment partners and other service providers involved in processing your purchase.
We may update these Terms & Conditions occasionally. The version that applies to your purchase will be the version in effect when your order is placed.
13. Governing Law
